Yes, yes. You found him. Your search is finally over. I am the Curtis Jones: notable author of the List of Notable Curtis Joneses (spoiler alert: there really aren't any). And this is my extremely notable blog, complete with daily (probably) posts about whatever is on my mind.

I've spent most of my life climbing mountains, riding my bike and programming. I still program, but much of my time and effort these days goes into raising our four boys to be men, and our daughter — to not be a man.

Author of The List of Notable Curtis Joneses, his wife and youngest son.

I'm Growing as a Person

When I worked at Bloomberg, I was probably six months into the job before my manager scheduled time for me to attend the week-long new employee orientation. I sat in the back and read The Hunchback of Notre Dame (the leather bound, Easton Press edition) and a couple other books while the instructor explained how to log hours and check email. Good times.

You can tell I’m growing as a person because I didn’t sit in the front row of the classroom while doing this extracurricular reading. I did nearly laugh out loud in class though when I read:

"Oh, how gladly I would drown myself, if only the water were not so cold!" -Gringoire
