Ain't that always the way....
I seem to run into church problems wherever I go.
I got a call from my pastor this afternoon. Someone had supposedly wreaked some havoc on the church network over the weekend. The church's rent-an-admin declared that the network was accessed, "using the pastor's [unrelated] email address", which makes absolutely no sense, especially since the rent-an-admin also believes that the act was perpetrated on-site (ie, someone walked into the building and did this). From the information I've pieced together, the sum of the supposed crime was that the router was reset (back to the manufacturer's defaults). I mean, *obviously* that was someone doing something malicious, not just an equipment malfunction....
Oh yeah, so back to my original statement. This sort of thing has happened before, and the first thing that is brought up is the church secretary accusing me. In this particular case, the fact that the rent-an-admin decided that it was a physical intrusion coupled with the fact that I recently returned to town, makes it clear that I was the perpetrator.
I can just feel the love...
