Alaska

The majority of my possessions (by mass) in New York that are neither furniture nor computers are now stuffed in two large duffle bags, ready for tomorrow's departure. I leave my apartment at 9am and around midnight I'll be checking out the exciting night-life in Anchorage. And if it weren't for the fact that there isn't much night there this time of year, and neither is there much life there, it might actually be exciting.

I haven't shaved in eight days now. By the time we start the climb, I should have a nice amount of protection between the harsh winter conditions and my baby-soft skin.

I need to remember to pick up more AA (GPS) and AAA (avalanche beacon) batteries.
