Me: Jones is my last name. You should refer to me as Curtis.
Him: Okay. Hello my name is <unintelligible> and I work for <unintelligible>.
Him: I have an opportunity that you might be interested in.
Me: I'm not presently on the market for a job.
Him: Oh. Okay. Do you have any friends who might be interested in this opportunity?
Me: It's hard to say because I don't know anything about it.
Him: Okay. Thank you very much. I'll keep you in mind for future opportunities.

End of call.

Do such people ever actually make any placements? It's hard to believe.
