A Book

My mind is made up (and subject to change): I'll bring along an iPod Nano to Alaska. However, I still have to decide about a book. It's safe to say I'll regret not bringing one. I have a shiny new copy of Atlas Shrugged sitting here, but there's no way I'll be able to finish that beast of a book during the course of the trip which means I'd be hauling extra book mass without benefit - and I'm not interested in tearing off the first third of the book, either. What I need is an Animal Farm-, Brave New World- or 1984-sized book. And since I'll be operating around fifty percent brain capacity, something none too challenging. I need some ideas....

And I still have to figure out which sixteen gigs of music I'm going to bring along. Hopefully that'll be enough space that I won't feel like I'm having to pick and choose.
