First Bike Repair

I got to the far end of the Big Creek Greenway trail in Alpharetta and came to a stop. After grabbing a drink and turning around I headed back down the hill but my left shoe wasn't clipping into the pedal. I fussed with it as I coasted down the hill and finally twisted my foot up so I could see the bottom of the shoe - the plastic cleat had broken in half. With my left foot sort of resting on the pedal, my right leg powered me back the six miles to the car. I'm glad I wasn't twenty miles out on the Silver Comet.

I dropped by Alpha Bikes and picked up a new set of cleats and replaced the left one ... all by myself. I can't wait until I have to deal with spokes and chains.
