Here I am, lounging in Sky Club in Atlanta

Here I am lounging in the Sky Club in Atlanta. After enduring the ritualistic search for the Sky Club through the A gates, I checked in at the front desk, found my way to the bar and pushed a Twenty to the bartender. "Do you want change?" "Just take care of me for the next couple of hours." With drink and snacks in hand, I went in search of a seat. Apparently Mother's Day is a popular day to travel. Seats were far from abundant. At least I'm consoled knowing that most of these folks are not going to be crowding the mountains in Alaska. I'm off to MSO (First Class) and then to Anchorage (possibly Coach). I say goodbye to "civilization" and welcome being in a small town of civilized people.

Here I am lounging in the Sky Club in Minneapolis. I had forgotten how ridiculously long this airport is. Anyway, this Sky Club is empty in comparison. Just one five-and-a-half hour flight remaining and I'm sixteenth in line for an upgrade. Coach it is....
