High[er] Resolution
Google finally added some higher resolution imagery of Denali, but only this little strip ... which conveniently misses the summit by not much more than a couple of miles. Stupid. Why bother, if they're going to miss the summit? What else could they possibly have been aiming for in that area?
Anyway, I took my GPS track logs from last year and combined them with the summit day from this year (because my gps died last year on summit day). If you click on the image you should be able to see the route from base camp (at the bottom of the image, up and around to the summit (which is all fuzzy and nondescript).
It takes the better part of three weeks (sometimes longer) to follow the white line in one direction ... and then about a day to go back down. That's not to say that it is a fun day....

Update: I annotated the image.
