Liberty Ridge ... Our Summit Camp
After summitting we set up camp in the saddle at 13,500 feet, between Liberty Cap and the true summit. Flat, spacious, sheltered from the wind, everything I could ask for. A shame we only stayed one night.
After summitting we set up camp in "the saddle" - the "low" (13,500' elevation) area between Liberty Cap and Columbia Crest (the true summit). It was flat, spacious and protected from the wind - which is all that I could ever really ask for. It was a shame we only got to stay there one night.
