Mt. McKinley Routine Part 4
I added ten pounds of weight to the pack for a total of 33 pounds. I did the 60 floors in 40 minutes. My legs weren't going to get me all the way to the top, so around half-way up I started using the trekking poles to assist. This is sort of cheating, because the snow is rarely packed enough that one can really push off it, so I'll be weaning myself off as I'm able.
40 seconds per floor, which 8.1% slower with the additional 10 pounds. Somehow I doubt that'll hold linearly, but if it did, then the addition of 30 more pounds would put me at 50 minutes for all 60 floors.
