Is it wrong when you laugh aloud at your own writing?

I was scrolling all the way back to the beginning of my old Blogger blog, when I discovered this gem from September 2005:

Certainly less appreciated, but a benefit just the same [of self-employment]: I never have to return home after a day at the office, and wonder why my mailbox has been granted a new axis of freedom. Whereas the mailbox door used to be the only moving component of the system, the mailbox as a whole can now rotate horizontally. Truly a blessing.

I took two of the kids to a church work day. We were pruning stuff, cleaning, mulching and so on. The kids had the choice between cartoons and landscaping work, and for some reason they accompanied me. Madness. Also, they opted to wear their Halloween costumes.
