Spot Connect
The Spot Connect kept slipping from January to Coming Soon to vanished, with no one stocking the thing. Then West Marine came through, and satellite-based text messaging will finally be mine.
The Spot Connect was originally supposed to become available in January. That badge on their web site, sometime in February, was changed to, "Coming Soon", and recently that badge disappeared entirely - yet no one seemed to have the elusive device in stock.
Anyway, West Marine came to the rescue, and I should have my very own Spot Connect shortly - and finally, satellite-based text messaging will be mine!
