Unions are Evil; Stand on Your Own, Whiny Brats
I wonder how many of the MTA union workers understand the issues for which they are striking; and how many are blindly following their Union Leaders.
These workers will eventually return to their jobs, and perhaps even with slightly improved pension plans or an extra dollar an hour. And yet these relatively minor changes are sufficient to ameliorate working conditions and pay so dreadful as to necessitate walking off the job? Do these workers feel no responsibility to their employer or to the people who depend upon them?
So either these workers are intelligent and capable of understanding the issues at hand and they willingly walked off the job and showed an utter lack of responsibility and moral fortitude, or they're dumb, and blindly followed their union leaders. Either way, fire 'em all. I expect there are plenty of people who would be *grateful* to have their jobs.
