CameraMan or Who Watches the Watchmen?
Four cameras streaming simultaneously. The individual windows "snap" together for easy window arrangement.

Meet CameraMan.

This app (Mac OS X, 10.11.x or greater) is my most recent personal project to fall victim to the demands of the day job. It's a Mac OS X app for video camera streaming. It'll work with most IP or USB cameras. It's uses Apple's fancy VideoToolbox and MetalKit frameworks for GPU-enhanced image processing goodness.

It'll record video (saved to individual per-hour files), and it has some rudimentary motion detection which is really quite useless at the moment.

Lastly, it has ONVIF compatibility, which means that it can auto-discover cameras on your network and save a ton of setup hassle, mostly. ONVIF is *not* consistently implemented by device manufacturers. In fact, it's a complete joke. But it's marginally better than no auto-configuration at all.
