Cemeteries

As I was sitting in church yesterday, listening to the sermon, the pastor was speaking on the death of Christ and (for a brief moment) his burial. My mind wondered momentarily (I promise it was only a brief moment), and I started thinking about cemeteries. People die. And every day, there are more people who have died. And for each such death, there's one more plot in some cemetery that is occupied. Cemeteries don't (often?) get paved over to make shopping malls. They just sit there. Forever. Eventually, I foresee this becoming a problem. The number of people who have died and are buried will never start to go down. Eventually, we'll run out of land, because the entire planet will be covered in cemeteries.
