FedEx Ground Sucks, Day 3

Delivery day! Nothing happened throughout the morning ... and then the FedEx tracking page was updated to show the dreaded shipment exception, with the explanation, cannot locate recipient. Such crap.

You see, I live in a new neighborhood and most maps do not include these new roads, yet. The week I moved in, and several times since, FedEx Over-Night has been able to find my house. Even DHL can find my house. They have no excuse. The first time, the Delivery Lady actually found the builder in the neighborhood and asked him for directions. Amazingly competent.

FedEx ground on the other hand persists in wallowing in its incompetence.

I called FedEx. They asked for directions to enter into the system ... so that this won't happen again ... which I've actually done twice before ... and I was told to expect it tomorrow. For whatever reason, my enthusiasm is tempered.
