If you knew him like I do....

A police officer in Denver was found not-guilty of using excessive force on a bicyclist after slamming his face into the ground (here). You'd think that the video evidence would be enough to convince the nine (?) dumb people who couldn't figure out how to get out of jury duty of what actually happened, but apparently there's some tizzy about the accuracy of the video. Anyway, that's not the point of this post. One of the comments on the story reads,

Hey to you all thinking negative to Cpl. Cordova, if you knew than man personally like I do you would totally be on his side.

As though a familiarity with him somehow constitutes proof of his actions. That dude should be on the jury.
