Not that there is a want of reasons to dislike MySpace, but now they've gone and bought Imeem and promptly shut it down. Thanks for that. When will MySpace die?

I had to share the gym today with like three other people. I know, you're thinking, "how intolerable!" -- and I agree. I may have to move my midnight-to-2am gym trips to 1am-to-3am. Hmm. People....

It finally happened. It's cheaper for me to back up data to 2TB Seagate HDDs than it is to burn DL DVDs. Finally. And hard disks are so much more convenient than maintaining a sizable catalog of DVDs -- which have this tendency to forget things. I even wrote a program to look at all of the files I want to burn to DVD and suggest groupings that maximize DVD use. But it has hit a price limit just the same. Another decade (hopefully less) and SSDs will be close enough that I can ditch moving parts altogether.
