Interesting Day

I checked this morning and I still hadn't received my tax refund from either the state or the feds. I checked again this afternoon (I can't help myself - it's like refreshing the UPS/FedEx tracking page - it can't be helped), and there it was, the bulk of the refund, from the feds, the equivalent of about four weeks of paid work.

In the mail I finally received a check from my employer's sub-contractor's sub-contractor for the one week I worked in July. Yes, July.

I also got two Mets tickets from the New York Blood Center (I donate blood), but I'm not sure what to do with them.

And I billed twelve hours today.

Overall, a good day.
