Lime Wire, Day 1

Yesterday was my first day at Lime Wire. There is no point in trying to draw distinctions between my new employer and my previous employer - because where would one even begin? Tomes could be written. And how could one more concisely describe my previous employer other than Orwellian? And that made one of my first conversations at Lime Wire one of my happiest employment moments in a very long time:

co-worker: "Did you set up Curtis' new computer yet?"
admin: "We don't set up developer's computers."

So after setting up my machine I downloaded the source code, got LimeWire bootstrapped, compiled and running and dug into some documentation - more progress than I could have hoped to have accomplished in a week in That Other Place.
