I haven't been this excited about a Kickstart project in, well, forever, actually.

If all goes well, I'll have a 64-core RISC-based Ubuntu-running computer to play with this coming May. The DSP stuff I could do with that ... I wonder if I should start writing it now, just to be prepared.

The only way this could get better is if the Ubuntu port they used included some Grand Central Dispatch-equivalent to make the threading funner. More fun. More funner. All three.
