Pikes Peak

The Barr Trail trailhead sign on Pikes Peak indicates that the ~13 miles and 7,300' can be hiked "at a brisk pace" in eight hours. I never would have characterized our pace as "brisk". Leisurely? Relaxed? Or maybe "a purposeful saunter"? And we finished in under seven hours (6:59:57).

Having Barr Trail and the Incline in my backyard would be amazing.
