Potentially Explosive Atmospheres

I finally finished making all of the necessary travel arrangements to be able to hike Mauna Loa. What a hassle. And I even talked a cousin into hiking up an active volcano, with me. That was, surprisingly, less of a hassle.

In other news, I was reading a product manual, and came across this:

Potentially Explosive Atmospheres-Turn your radio
OFF and do not remove the battery when you are in any
area with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
