Senior Recruiter

In the software engineering world, everyone has "senior" on his resume. Some time ago, in silent protest to this rampant "title inflation", I removed all job titles from my resume. Read the job description; it'll be obvious what your *real* role was.

Anyway, whenever a recruiter calls me I'm always told that I'm speaking with a "senior recruiter". Never a junior recruiter. I wonder if, perhaps, they're having a Children of Men-esque crisis where there are no new recruiters. Or maybe it's just title inflation again.

I look forward to the day when I am finally contacted by a recruiter intern. Do they have interns?
