Smart Sorting in OS X

I don't know what else to call it. Take a look at the picture (it's a Finder window). The sorting of the chapters of that book is not alphabetical. Kind of weird.

Yes, I expect most of you just let out some entirely unattractive "huuuuuh?" sound with a slightly ugly furrowed brow. I wouldn't expect you to understand.
