Spot Programmer Failure
So, the Spot Messenger iOS app on my iPad was acting up a bit. Not sure what else to try, I hit the "logout" button, thinking that would let me "start from scratch". When I hit "login", the app informed me that, "you need internet access to log in". Oh. Freakin'. Great.
And thus I was never able to send the, "Everything is better with butter and bacon" message, nor any messages after that. I cached the Spot Messenger at 11,200-feet and left it behind.
I'm going to call the Spot people and complain. There really isn't much they can do though. It's just irritating....
