The Religion that Requires the Most Effort

I am, of course, thinking of Flat Earthers.

There's an argument to be made that it requires a lot more faith to believe that all order came randomly from chaos than is required to believe in a divine Creator, but that's not what I want to talk about.

It struck me one day while I was watching yet another SpaceX rocket launch, which rocket launch was going to further bolster the Starlink satellite constellation, that it must require immense effort on the part of Flat Earthers to maintain their beliefs.

We are well beyond the point that the technology required to fake a globe, satellites, orbits and all that – is greater than what is required to actually do those things for real.

Unless it's all just a simulation.... A topic for another day.
