Two Months of Blogging
Possibly three or more months by whenever this post goes live.
In reality I’ve got some seven hundred+ posts dating back more than twenty years (I started in 2005. I refused to use Xanga. I signed up with Blogger.), but that includes several multi-year hiatuses. I‘m two months in now, with daily (weekday) posts, a healthy queue, and an appetite for writing. I’ve also got my wife and one of my sons blogging semi-regularly, for the sake of practicing getting their thoughts out into written words.
Anyway, my hope, my goal, is to keep this going for the long term; at least a year. I don’t have any formal standard for what constitutes an adequate blog post, so it shouldn’t be too challenging of a goal. If Roman Atwood can post a video daily for years, I can churn out a paragraph or three with a moral, a plot or an anecdote, five days a week. As long as I continue to interact with kids, lawyers, realtors, recruiters and managers, I shouldn’t want for thoughts worth writing.
Carry on, 2026.
