Where to Move To

My apartment lease here in New York ends in a couple of months and I intend to remain in the area for another year. Following that, however, employment allowing, I intend to move.

In considering possible destinations, I've settled on the following criteria:

Geography
Weather
Mountains
Beaches

People
Friends & Family
New Yorkers

Miscellaneous
Employment
2nd Amendment Rights
Smell

I also compiled the following list of places:

Atlanta, GA
Auckland, NZ
Bay Area, CA
Destin, FL
Colorado Springs, CO
Honolulu, HI
New York, NY
Savannah, GA

Using the some nifty graphing software, I assessed the criteria in light of each city and came up with the following.

Assuming an equal weight across the criteria (which, of course, isn't the case), the results are as follows:

Atlanta, GA - 60
Auckland, NZ - 46
Bay Area, CA - 54
Destin, FL - 60
Colorado Springs, CO - 49
Honolulu, HI - 55
New York, NY - 21
Savannah, GA - 61

Surprisingly enough I largely agree with the results. The fact that Savannah edged its way to first place is particularly gratifying. A low New York score (given my desire for outdoor activities and general distaste for bad smells) wasn't surprising. The seriously impractical nature of Auckland off-set partially by its good geography made its score seem very reasonable. Another criteria I could consider adding is cost of living. But I like these results, so I'll not change them.
