Wine: Angeline 2006 Pinot Noir of Sonoma County

The first thing this wine has going for it, is that it's not the Shiraz from yesterday.
A little fruity. The label claims that its earthy, but I don't know what that means. Tastes like dirt? Thankfully not. It nicely complemented some salmon and the after-salmon goldfish crackers. Mmm. Goldfish.
Its very likable. My preference is for a sort of "silkiness" in a Pinot Noir, and this doesn't have much of that, but its still very decent. And I'm also partial to wines from California, so it has that going for it, too.
