Kevin's Crib

Kevin's crib (and I'm don't mean street slang for one's digs) arrived earlier this week and I finally got around to putting 'er together. Wife was gone all day, so I figured I'd surprise her with the crib all assembled and in the baby's room. The process was proceeding better than expected....

The box. Not much to say about this.

The contents were nicely packaged and easily removed.

Here's everything, ready for assembly.

Got the legs attached to the feet with the plastic pad thingies.

The headboard.

Got some side rails attached now.

All done!

Toss the mattress in – Wife will be so happy to find it all done.

Annnnnd ... it doesn't fit through the door. Perfect. Maybe Kevin would prefer the guest room with the french doors?

So, I tried every which angle to try to finesse the crib into the room, but it wouldn't have it. So, I took it mostly apart, moved the parts in, and put it back together. Voila!

This is the last piece of baby-stuff I'll have to assemble, right?
