Meetings and Mosques
I woke up this morning at precisely 6am (it's strange how that keeps happening). I got to work packing. It feels a bit premature, but I'll likely have no time to pack between this little bit of quiet time in the morning, until after our team dinner tonight. I'd rather get started with packing early. If nothing else, it makes me feel like the end of this trip is here. And that's a good feeling.
The Delta app prompted me to check in for my flight, and then immediately, and repeatedly failed. Apparently because my return flight begins with a KLM flight, I have to check in on the KLM app. Of course, it doesn't tell me that; just an error about seeing the agent at the ticket counter. Very helpful.
The plan is to wake up around 2:30am, catch a 3am ride to the airport (which takes about an hour), and my flight departs around 6am for Amsterdam. I've got a short-ish layover in Amsterdam and then it is off to Atlanta on the monster nine-and-a-half hour flight. I guess I'll go through customs and immigration at that point. After a couple hours of waiting around, I'll be on my flight to Chattanooga.
