Cauliflower Ear

A Playboy mail offer arrived while I was staying at my pastor's house. Twelve issues for $12, plus a free DVD. Also: cauliflower ear at Great Clips, asian twins at Publix, chocolate chips, and the Queen's birthday versus our refreshingly rotating figureheads.

Baby Shower

I was invited to a baby shower, by the expectant mother, to "liven up the conversation." This is going to be seriously weird. Also, my house closing got bumped up, and a movie gave me a wonderful line about three inches of bullet-proof glass.

Graduated from the deck to the church parking lot, starting from the basketball goal. Some double-rotations, lots of singles, a few halves. Still always landing on my feet. Practice time: 3.5 hours.

Some more full revolutions, lots of half revolutions. Also, the girl next to me at the blood drive passed out, and all the nurses crowded around her. I felt a little neglected. Yeah, I'm feeling light headed over here too.

My unicycle was ready, so off to the store. The seat was too high, the house had no allen wrenches, and once they hacked the pole down it still wasn't easy. I can idle a second or two; rolling backwards promptly tosses me. Practice time: 1 hour.
