Steam Powered Harleys
A Slashdot piece on BMW's new steam engine that reclaims energy from exhaust heat. The real treasure is the comments, which only land if you know the factions inside the biking community. Steam-engine performance for Harley owners, basically.
Here is an interesting article on Slashdot about BMW and its new steam engine that re-claims lost energy from the exhaust by using the heat. Seemingly brilliant. And since I am not a mechincal engineer, that seemingly is there to protect me.

The Slashdot comments are the greatest, and if you don't know anything about the factions that exist within the biking community (and I only know a little), then this will fall completely flat. Feel free to laugh, though, so that it doesn't look as though you are the only one who doesn't get the joke.
Person 1: but i'd rather have a steam engined harley davidson
Person 2: Unfortunately there's no way to make a steam engine loud enough to satisfy the average Harley owner. Too bad, since they're already accustomed to steam-engine performance.
