Doing Battle with the Bugs
From the tire shop waiting room: why isn't an alignment assumed replacing all four tires? Meanwhile every soul in the waiting room is over 70+, overweight, and lamenting how hard it is to get older. I am no expert, but the one hundred fifty extra pounds might be a clue.
VBS Part 3, Day 1
The kids have their third and final VBS of the summer all this week – Monday through Friday. They depart while I'm out running, and they'll get back sometime after lunch, which means I have a quiet, peaceful, uninterrupted half a day to knock out work.
Travel
I've got some upcoming business travel. I don't like buying stuff, or accumulating stuff, but there were some things I needed:
- Larger backpack
- Filtered water bottle
- Travel power adapter
- Noise cancelling headphones
I had some nice noise cancelling headphones. JetBlue stole them. I left them on my seat (my fault). I exited the plane. I realized my error shortly thereafter and returned to the gate. The gate agent assured me that the headphones had been carried to Lost & Found. "If you use our app, you can submit your details and JetBlue will get your headphones to you." A month later they closed my ticket because my headphones could not be located. I'm sure. Anyway, I waited until I actually needed them again (today) before I went ahead and replaced them.
