Happy Birthday, Wife!
On her own birthday, my wife ran errands with the kids for hours, then rescued a mistakenly bought supreme pizza by transferring its toppings onto her cauliflower crust so nothing went to waste. My contribution was buying the gifts she linked me and forgetting to photograph a single moment of it.
I'm really quite neglectful when it comes to doing stuff for S's birthday. Generally the best birthday gift I can give is, "I'll stay home with the kids; you go shopping." And that's probably what will happen this year. But, S did at least "hint" (with Amazon links) at what she wanted, which I purchased, and the kids wrapped up this morning.
After a long day out with the kids running errands, S opted for pizza for dinner. She picked up good pizzas, and a cauliflower crust pizza for herself. She accidentally picked up a supreme pizza (that the kids won't enjoy) so she carefully transferred all of those toppings to her own pizza. After dinner, the kids enjoyed some ice cream that S had picked out. Tel-a-mook? I don't know how to spell it. That's what it sounds like S is saying though.
After dinner, the kids played on screens. Once they were in bed, S and I enjoyed some ice cream and a Fresh Off the Boat episode.
