"A substantial cache of arms"
The Indian Navy captured some pirates and seized "a substantial cache of arms," including seven AK-47s, machine guns, an RPG launcher, and, listed by name, "a GPS receiver." I know people with more substantial weapons. What on earth qualifies as "other equipment"?
So, I'm reading this article about the Indian Navy capturing some of the recently troublesome pirates we've been hearing about. The article goes on to say:
"Indian marine commandoes boarded the pirate boats and seized 'a substantial cache of arms and equipment,' including seven AK-47 assault rifles, three machine guns, a rocket-propelled grenade launcher and other weapons, the statement said. They also found a GPS receiver and other equipment."
First, I'm pretty sure I know people who have more substantial weapons, and second, "a gps receiver"?! Wow. I can't imagine what qualifies as "other equipment" if a gps receiver is listed by name. Toiletries and tooth picks perhaps?
