The Religion that Requires the Most Effort
Watching yet another SpaceX launch, it struck me: faking globes, satellites, and orbits now takes more effort than just doing them for real. Which makes Flat Earth, perhaps, the religion that requires the most faith of all. Unless it is all a simulation.
I am, of course, thinking of Flat Earthers.
There's an argument to be made that it requires a lot more faith to believe that all order came randomly from chaos than is required to believe in a divine Creator, but that's not what I want to talk about.
It struck me one day while I was watching yet another SpaceX rocket launch, which rocket launch was going to further bolster the Starlink satellite constellation, that it must require immense effort on the part of Flat Earthers to maintain their beliefs.
