What About Fraternal Conjoined Twins?
At work we discussed the human object model, data structures, concepts, etc. My mind kept drifting: was our model adequate to support fraternal conjoined twins? When the boss asked for feedback, I was powerless to remain silent. Apparently, not all edge cases need to be addressed at this stage.
Swimming
1,760 yards is the goal. I'm remembering back to when I used to swim regularly, that the closest I could get to that goal without going over was 1,750 yards (25 yard pool), so when I finished up that last lap, I'd just kick off the wall, drift for a bit, and then swim back – ten yards.

Knocking out the 20+ laps has become pretty easy. I'm not pushing too hard because I don't want to end up with any repetitive strain injuries in my shoulders. I can feel that I'm tip-toeing right up to that limit. My progress might plateau for a bit while they acclimate.

I've been continuing to dig through the attic, garage and around the house: old iPads, power tools, electronics – all long since forgotten, but filling boxes and totes and drawers. The thing with selling stuff is that you can't do it in a hurry. I think the norm is to frantically try to get rid of things right before a big move, when time is of the essence. I don't have any moving plans, but I got this itch to clean house, so here we are.
