Elgato Stream Deck for Workouts?

I've been looking for an excuse to buy an Elgato Stream Deck literally for years. I don't exercise a ton of self-control when it comes to useful tech purchases that will give me productivity edge, but we're going on years now, and I haven't been able to figure out a justification for one of these guys.

Stream Deck Neo
Great workflows should be effortless. Meet Stream Deck Neo, an eight-key controller that makes everyday tasks fast and fun. So you can focus on bigger things.

Related to my current employment, I'm striving to knock out three solid workouts a week. I'm still working on formalizing the routine a bit. It'll wind up being a combination of trail running and body-weight exercises.

It got me thinking that I'd love to conveniently be able to track the number of reps in each set, and the total per day. Having a big red button next to the pull-up bar that I could slap a bunch of times as I conclude each set, would be amazing. That button would be tied to something that would interpret sets and timestamp them and all that. Realistically, that's not the solution though.

But then the Stream Deck popped into my head.

I could have a button for each exercise. I'd maybe need a +5 button or something, so I don't sit there all day repetitiously hitting the button at the conclusion of some exercise, but, that's just an implementation detail.

I still haven't pulled the trigger on it, but I dig the idea of live web stats.
