VBS & Family Fun Night
Today wraps up the four-day VBS. The program concludes with a "family fun night" complete with burgers, hot dogs, tea, bouncy-houses, a fire truck blasting water, popsicles and more. The kids loved it last year.
I told S that I'd just plan on walking down there after work, because it starts before I usually wrap up. She countered by suggesting that they could leave a little later. It occurs to me that maybe she doesn't want to wrangle all five kids down there, solo. I wouldn't want to!
The problem with going down there with them, is that I then have to be there the entire time. The kid's penchant for bouncy houses and popsicles and fire trucks far exceeds my penchant for watching kids play and eat popsicles.
