Mom is Dying

Hold the condolences. Then stay for grilled alligator with marinara, a Venn diagram of salvation, a first communion and another glimpse into the 1980s.

Mom is Dying
This time, the DIY hair dye process will definitely not require professional assistance. Also, why does it look like she is basting herself with barbecue sauce?

...her hair. Again. It has universally been a disaster when she has done it herself, but every time there's some twist that renews her confidence; everything will definitely work out this time. Next thing I know I'm paying for an "emergency" salon visit, in effect paying for DIY hair dye AND a professional hair dye process. It's the opposite of a two-for-one deal: we get one hair dye for the price of two! What's not to love?

S asked me if I could keep an ear out for W (who is taking a nap) for the next hour while she dyes her hair. I asked if I should make the salon appointment now, or wait until the morning. I didn't get a firm answer on that.

(I know the correct spelling is "dyeing". But that wouldn't make the title funny.)
