Two Hours of Sleep and it is Time for Meetings!

How little sleep can a person actually function on? I managed two hours in the first forty, three in the first forty-eight, and a knock at the door every time I closed my eyes. When I skipped the Turkish bath to rest, I earned a lecture on powering through. Eight more days of this to go.

Two Hours of Sleep and it is Time for Meetings!

I had just spent the better part of two days traveling. I had eaten a couple basic airline meals, but I hadn't scored anything resembling decent sleep the entire time.

When I fell down on my bed in the rental house in Istanbul, I was desperate for some sleep. Since I was half a day late arriving (due to weather delays causing flight cancellations), everyone else had already enjoyed some recovery time, including a full night of sleep, but I was operating on no sleep for almost two days. So it was not received with great joy when one of my co-workers knocked on my door two hours later, letting me know that it was time to head out for our "kick off" breakfast cruise. Great.
