My wife lamented all the chores she never got to, so I helpfully proposed a fix: a couple more wives to split the load. She informed me she'd already dreamed I was married to everyone at Small Group, and woke up furious about it. The harem idea is a firm no-go.

Exercise

Yesterday was my first run in a week due to my the ankle incident, so I decided something lower-impact like a hike was the way to go. The "calf burner". It takes about an hour to get to the top, and an hour to get back down. I'd just as soon get a ride back home from the top given how pointless the hour-long downhill walk feels. I might start descending the trail instead of the road.

Eggs, Still?

S has decided to try to keep the momentum going – preparing eggs in the morning for each of the kids. H, J and A each ate their eggs cheerfully. K opted for a different breakfast.

Interestingly, when K made his PB&J for lunch today, he toasted and buttered the bread first because, as he explained it, "it'll give me some extra calories so I can gain weight. K typically eats like a bird, so I'm all for whatever this is about.
